Started out as the guy who would take the extra time to do lunch-and-learns for others at work. Then moved to a job that was 2/3 consulting and 1/3 writing and teaching hands-on workshops, learning what's real and how to do it in a lab. Then to a job as full-time instructor and part time consultant. Finally, started writing it down for all to read. Now writing all the time, with the most most popular CCENT and CCNA Cert Guides since the early days of Cisco certs, all from Cisco Press.
