Lala Watkins

Lala Watkins is an author-illustrator & designer who lives in sunny Florida (she's in a long-term relationship with the sun, and why ruin that?) and is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of good vibes. Since graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design and Interactive Communications from Ringling College of Art & Design, she has worked as a product designer, product developer, Illustrator, and graphic designer at Sanrio, Paper Culture, and Cartoon Network. She's a pro at doing what makes her heart emote, the heart-eyed emoji, and encourages others to do the same. Lala is a BIG sweets enthusiast and is an uncompromising nap queen. If she had to describe her work, she would say, "it's like a summer pool party, and everyone's invited!" Her dream is to add more goodness and playful vibes to the world; another is to eat ice cream with the people she likes in different places.
