Imke Rajamani

Imke Rajamani is a researcher at the Centre for the History of Emotions at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. In her research and publications, she addresses topics related to Indian media cultures in the 20th and 21st centuries, the history of emotions, conceptual history and gender studies. Margrit Pernau is Senior Researcher at the Centre for the History of Emotions at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. Her research interests include Indian history of the 18th to the 20th centuries, the history of modern Islam, historical semantics, the history of emotions and global history. Among her numerous publications is the book Ashraf into Middle Classes: Muslims in Nineteenth Century Delhi (2013). Katherine Butler Schofield is Senior Lecturer in the Music Department at King?s College London. As a historian of music and listening in Mughal India she is working with Persian and Urdu sources for Hindustani music c. 1570?1860. She is the author of various publications on the intersecting histories of emotions, the senses, aesthetics and ethics.
