Frank Huzur

Frank Huzur

A free-spirit thinker, Frank Huzur is a wordsmith. He is a biographer of Imran Khan Niazi, Pakistan's legendary cricketer-turned-politician. Frank is also working on The Socialist: The political journey of India's socialist patriarch, Mulayam Singh Yadav. Poetry is his basic instinct and playwriting is plaything of his dramatist's heart. Frank was born in Buxar (India) on 21 September 1977 but divides his time between United Kingdom, India and Pakistan. Frank writes in English but he has romanticised his native tongue in 'Soho' with special love for the lingua franca of India's heartland. Frank is also known for his iconoclast, debut drama, Hitler in Love with Madonna, written in the autumn of 1998. In poetry, he prefers to be known as the composer of such poems as, She is a Whore and I want to marry her, Every Home is a Brothel, I saw Sita on Sale and Remembering Her. In many ways, Frank is the 'flower child' of literature. Frank started composing with English language poetry at tender school age. He would stun everyone with the launch of a monthly news magazine, Utopia, in 1997 at the age of 19. His journey from a school essayist to young editor; from prose-writer to poet, playwright and biographer has been a roller-coaster ride. His prose as well as verse sternly deal with virtue and vice of social and political pond of his experience and imagination.
