Makiko Sano is an expert on Japanese food and cooking. She has run the sashimi counter at Selfridges, supplied sushi to Buckingham Palace, and taught thousands of novices how to make sushi effortlessly. She now reveals that skill in her new book, along with the age-old food secrets of Japanese women, used to keep them slim and beautiful. The name of Makiko's restaurant in Hammersmith - Suzu - means 'long and healthy life', and this is what she wants us all to enjoy, sharing her superfood ingredients and tips for eating well for life. She lives in London with her three children.
