
Jeanne Willis
Jeanne Willis has had a successful career working in advertising and as an author, writing over eighty picture books, poetry books, television scripts and novels for children. Her teenage novel Naked Without a Hat was shortlisted for the 23 Whitbread Children's Book Award and Dumb Creatures was longlisted for the 25 Carnegie Medal. Her other novels include Shamanka (9781844286492) and Grandad and John (9781844288984), and her picture books include Little Big Mouth (9781844288717), Mummy, Do You Love Me? (97874457847) and Never Too Little to Love (97874459652). She lives in north London. Lydia Monks won the Smarties Prize for I Wish I Were a Dog, and is the illustrator of Aaaarrgghh, Spider! (which she also wrote) and Sharing a Shell by Julia Donaldson. She lives in Sheffield with her husband.
