V. Shanmuganathan

A post-graduate and an M.Phil in Political Science (with gold medal) Shri V. Shanmuganathan, imbued with the spirit of patriotism and a desire to serve the nation with a missionary zeal, became a Swayamsevak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1962. Then he dedicated himself for the service of motherland with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the spiritual thoughts of Manicka Vasagar in Thiruvasagam. He became R.S.S. Pracharak in the year 1970. He was Prant Pracharak of Tamilnadu for almost two decades. Presently he is Additional Secretary of the BJP Parliamentary Party Office at the national headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi, he has been prabhari of the Defence, Research and Documentation and Overseas Friends of BJP Cells. Being a prolific writer, his three books relating to culture and social aspects have already been published in Tamil. The book ?Karyakarta Nirman? in English became very popular. Besides, he has contributed over 600 articles in the leading newspapers and magazines, both in Tamil and English.
