James S. Crouch studied typograpy, graphic design, and book illustrtation at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology from 1959 to 1962, and has subsequently worked in publishing and bookselling in London and Melbourne (where he now lives). He was employed by Princeton University Press and the Bollingen Foundation as a consultant on bibliographical matters in connection with their publication in 1977 of Coomaraswamy's Selected Papers. He has contributed reviews and articles on Coomaraswamy to journals such as Hemisphere, the Journal of Tamil Studies, and the Ceylon Journal of Historical and Social Studies. James S.
