Dr Ben Garrod is Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at the University of East Anglia. He is also a science broadcaster and conservationist. He has lived and worked across the world, protecting wild chimpanzees in Africa, stalking polar bears in the Arctic and helping dig up the largest dinosaur ever discovered, in South America. <br>Ben has written numerous series and individual books, about his amazing African street dog (The adventures of a dog called Jack-Jack), prehistoric animals (Ultimate Dinosaurs), mass extinctions (EXTINT) and his work with chimpanzees (The chimpanzee and me).
