The remarkable little kingdom of Bhutan in the Eastern Himalayas may just hold the secret to lifelong happiness. Gyonpo Tshering is currently chief librarian at the National Library of Bhutan in the capital city of Thimphu, where he lives. He has a BA in Buddhist philosophy from Semtokha Rigzhung Institute and has translated and written a number of books on Bhutanese history and religion.
