Neil Flory became a children's writer when his son asked him for a bedtime story. His first picture book, 'The Short Giraffe', was nominated for Book of the Year at the Children's Book Council of Australia Awards. He now lives in Goa, where he divides his time between writing kids' stories, adult novels, comics and screenplays; and making music, art and pottery.
