Kate Peridot is an author of both fiction and non-fiction children?s stories. In 2014, her children?s story, The Elephant Carnival, won a Walker Books Animal Stories competition for 4-7-year-olds. In 2015 she won the Winchester Festival, First Pages of a Novel award for a YA concept. Kate?s first non-fiction children?s book, Caring Conservationists will be published in 2023. Kate lives with her family in the south of France.
