The study of Numerical Methods has become essential for scientists and engineers with the widespread use of computers in the field of scientific research and engineering sign. To prepare young scientists and engineers to meet this challenge, most of the universities have introduced a course on numerical methods as an integral part of the course curriculum in BCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Computer Science), BE/BTech (All Branches GDCA, MCA, and MSc in Physical Sciences. Throughout the book, the emphasis is laid to ensure the conceptual understanding various numerical methods. The formulae for these methods have been derived in simplest manner. In additions, the formulae for estimating the accuracy of the computed results are also worked out wherever possible. Further the use of these methods lustrated with the help of well-designed examples.
