BK Venkataraman is presently the professor at the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Sri Rajarajeshwari Dental College, Bengaluru. He has also been the Academic Director of the college. He is also the founder of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology, 1986.
