Esakkirajan obtained his BSc in Physics from Sadakathullah Appa College, Palayamkottai, BTech in Instrumentation Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology, and ME in Applied Electronics from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He completed his PhD in the area of Image Compression from Anna University, Chennai. He has received the Alumni Award in his ME degree programme. He has more than 17 years of experience in teaching and research. He is currently guiding research scholars in the field of biomedical image processing, image fusion and image classification etc. He has published more than 50 papers in international/national journals and conferences. His areas of interest include Digital Image Compression and Medical Image Denoising. T. Veerakumar received his BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, and did his ME in Applied Electronics from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, in the years 2004 and 2006, respectively. He completed his PhD in the area of Image Denoising from Anna University, Chennai, under the guidance of Dr Ila Vennila in the year 2013. He has more than 13 years of experience in teaching and research and has been associated with sponsored projects funded by DST. He is currently guiding research scholars in the field of biomedical image processing, moving object detection and tracking. He has published more than 40 papers in international/national journals and conferences. His areas of interest include Image Denoising, Image Compression, Video Compression and Moving Object Detection and Tracking. Badri Narayan Subudhi received his BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Bijupatnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and MTech in Electronics System & Communication from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He worked for his PhD from Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (degree from Jadavpur University in 2014). He received a CSIR senior research fellowship, Young Scientist Travel grant award from DST, Government of India, in the year 2011. He was nominated as the Young Scientist Awardees by Indian Science Congress Association for the year 2012?13. He is the recipient of Bose-Ramagnosi award for the year 2010 from DST, Government of India, under India-Trento Programme for Advanced Research (ITPAR). His research interests include Image and Video Processing, Machine Learning, and Remote Sensing Image Analysis. He has published 50 research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
