G Sankarasubramanian, is a professor of Civil Engineering at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He was awarded BE (Hons) at PSG College of Technology, University of Madras in 1984; MTech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1985. He obtained his PhD degree in Civil Engineering from Bharathiar University in 1996. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India), Fellow of Indian Concrete Institute (FICI) and Fellow of Indian Water Works Association (FIWWA). He has organized national conferences and short-term training programmes and delivered special lectures in many faculty development programmes. Dr Sankarasubramanian is the coordinator of IGNOU programme study centre for engineering programmes.
