The present book on Experimental Strength of Materials has been written with a specific purpose of filling the void that exists in respect of laboratory work performed by students during preparation of degree. In most Indian Universities the laboratory courses in strength of materials and/or theoretical strength of materials for support during studies and for preparation of examination. The present text makes an attempt in providing back ground material for several experiments and also deals with the theories connected with different aspects of material behavior and testing.
