Eric Leclerc is Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Rouen (France). He started his research in south India on developmental issues, both in rural areas as well as in small towns. After completing his PhD he spent about a decade in Africa before returning to India. From 24, he was for two years, the head of the Regional Dynamics in South Asia and International Relations team at the Centre de Sciences Humaines (New Delhi). His research analyses the impact of Indian diaspora on the globalization of Indian society through the example of IT professionals. \n
