CA & CS Pratap Giri S., B.Com, FCA, FCS, MIOD is a rank holder in the Chartered Accountancy final Examination with post-qualification experience of 33 years. He has been both a practitioner and an academic in the area of corporate advisory and investment banking. He specialises in strategic financial advisory and independent directorship in closely held companies. He has handled several assignments in corporate advisory space including raising project finance, private equity, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions in various capacities as appraiser, lead manager, advisor and consultant. Mr. Pratap Giri is presently Adjunct Faculty member with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Visiting Faculty member at other IIMs, SPJIMR, Great Lakes Institute of Management and the IFMR Graduate School of Business at Krea University. He has also been associated with several other institutions such as the NISM, ICAI, ICSI, JNIBF etc. He has been a corporate trainer for several leading banks and financial institutions such as BOB, PNB, BOI, UBI, Canara Bank, NABARD, LIC, GIC among others. Presently he conducts open programmes in investment banking domain at IIMB for corporate executives and elective courses for several executive MBA cohorts.
