The Novel "Jayatu, jayatu Lankesh!" authored by Dr Ambika Prasad Gaur( published by Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi---in Hindi), is basically dealing with the Life and deeds of the all time great, Raakshas king and propagator of Raksh civilization, Thennavan(better known as Raavan), who was a contemporary of King Dashratha of Ayodhya, King Baali of Kishkindha, King Arjun of Maahishmati, King Dushyant of Hastinapur, King Gaadhi of Kannauj and King Indradhyumna of Amravati(swargpuri). He was the son of Brahmin Visharva and Rakshasi, Kaikashi. He was found to be most suitable for propagating Raksh civilization by his maternal grandfathers, Sumali and Malyawant.Sumali with his ten powerful sons and Malyawant with his four courageous sons helped Raavan to establish a huge Raksh empire across entire Jambudweep(India) and adjoining areas. King Dashratha had been defeated by Raavan twice and even Amaravati was subjugated and Indradhyumna got arrested by Meghnad, eldest son of Raavan. The third and the most favourite queen of Dashratha, Kaikeyi, vowed before Raavan that he( Raavan) and his Raksh civilization would be destroyed by the sons of king Dashratha. Raavan, at one point of time, was able to defeat and subjugate all the Digpaals(guardians of Directions), entire Arayavarta(north and middle parts of India), Dakshinavarta(southern parts of India) and thirty two adjoining islands including Africa, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Malaya et al. He was able to spread the Raksh civilization all across his empire at the cost of the then prevalent Yaksh, Aarya and Dev civilizations. These pre-dominant Civilizations got greatly subdued by Raavan's newly propagated Raksh civilization and they were on the verge of collapse. This imminent danger to the very existence of their civilizations alienated the Yakshas(led by Kuber, half brother of Raavan),Aaryas(led by Suryavanshis----here Kaikeyi and her mentor, Brahmin Vashishtha) and Devas(led by Indradhyumna) against Raavan and his Raksh civilizat\n
