Hao Jingfang is an author and Economic Research Fellow. She graduated from the Tsinghua University Department of Physics in 2006, and got her doctor?s degree from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in 2013. In 2016, her story Folding Beijing won the Hugo Award for Best Novelette, and the same year she was selected as one of People Magazine?s ?Top 10 People of the Year?. She is the founder of Fangjing Science Fiction Studio, a film and television studio dedicated to the creation of sustainable science fiction literature and films. In 2018, she became a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Kennedy School.
