Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay was a famous Bengali novelist. Most of his works have been translated into Hindi. He was born in Devanandpur village of the Hoogly district on 15 September, 1976. His childhood was full of struggles. Rabindranath Tagore and Bankim Chandra Chatterjee had a profound impact on his life. He started writing at an early age. His works reflect the seriousness of life. Path ke Davedar is one of the famous novels written by Shart Chandra Chattopadhyay.
