H.D. Deve Gowda won the confidence vote in the Lok Sabha on 12the June 1996. The motion was passed by a voice vote amidst loud cheers and thumping of desks. This was the first signal for clean governance and garand victory of Secular Force. Today there is no alternative to coalition politics. The time of one party's charisma is out of focus.
