Dr Swapna Pradhan is Professor, Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai. Her teaching interests include merchandising, category management, and marketing. Prof Pradhan has rich corporate experience to her credit including her stint at Pantaloons Fashion wherein she handled diverse portfolios such as retail operations, franchising, and merchandising. Dr Pradhan is also the author of Retail Merchandising (MHE). Her research interests include evolving business models in retail, category management, private labels, and branding.
