This is particularly evident in the statistical analysis of data samples in practice. On one hand the diagnostics itself of hidden trends in data is an effective manner of study. Solving interesting and uncommon practical exercises allows one to better understand the limits and possibilities of various methods and to select through analogy the manner for processing one's own exercises.
