Out of nowhere, a new trouble brews up. An attempt by some of the hooligans in the chawl to outrage Stella’s modesty leaves Sheila distressed. She is forced to shift to the servant quarters of Mr. Arya, in whose house Stella cooks to make a living. Stella, now all grown to be a beautiful young woman, unaware of life’s sudden unfolding, falls prey to circumstances unavoidable. She gets romantically attached to Mr. Arya’s son, Himanshu who craftily makes her believe that he will marry her one day. Destiny has something else in store for her.
