The "Odyssey" follows "Stanley" from a man who runs from truth to a man who accepts and embraces life's challenges and rewards. The plot takes a drastic turn when Stanley is forced to face and relive a painful experience he tried to forget and repress. Stanley's mind unravels into several regions for the reader to explore. The work was partly inspired by Homer's Odyssey, where Odysseus fights a war with his men and returns home alone.Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru, the founder Guru of Santhigiri Ashram, inspired Stanley's spiritual "Odyssey." In this story, Stanley battles his own demons and identities."The story explores how his experiences change his perception and choices."
