The spiritual leader of the displaced Tibetan people, one of the foremost Buddhist thinkers of the world, and the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Peace, 1989, the 14th Dalai Lama is also well known for being a messenger of peace and goodwill. His political philosophy has guided not only Tibetans for many decades, but has fascinated the rest of the world.
Dr Subhash C. Kashyap is a well-known author. Advocate, Supreme Court; President, Indian National Bar Association; Editor, South Asia Politics (monthly); and Honorary Research Professor, Centre for Policy Research, he is also a former international civil servant and was Secretary General of the Lok Sabha, Parliament of India. Dr Kashyap has remained closely associated with the Tibetan cause for many decades now.
