The book is not a theological one. It draws on the treasure house of wisdom embedded in every religion. The book begins with nature and civilizations, how groups of people discover and cultivate ideas and form religion. The author has discussed ideas that clash, for example between science and religion. \nThe book deals with evolution of civilization, of people who have similar ideas and decide to join hands. Not only European civilization but also the Indian and Asian ones have been discussed. He touches upon the \norigin of varnas and castes and such topics which have gone into making a civilization.
He is a post graduate in Nuclear Physics and reader of Physics at the National Defence Academy. He relishes reading the Bhagawad Gita and the New testament.
