The main contents include General Description, History, People, Religious and Social Life, Tribes and Castes and Leading Families, Village Communities and Tenures, Agriculture and Livestock, Administration and Finance, Towns, Municipalities and Cantonments, with exhaustive statistical tables. This, the first Gazetteer of Delhi, which has remained scarce for a long time, is now being published for interested scholars.\n
