Jennifer Pirtle is the founder of The Make Lounge, a stylish London-based craft centre credited with helping to spearhead the revitalization of contemporary craft in the UK. Jennifer launched the company in 28 out of frustration with old-fashioned crafting approaches and with the aim of inviting people to meet others and make stuff. Kristina Nilsson moved to the UK from Sweden to study at the London College of Fashion. After graduating, Kristina worked for a leading high-street retailer designing its tailoring range before leaving to set up her own label, The Potion. Whilst developing the collections for her own brand, Kristina also works as a fashion design lecturer.
